At Dental Health Matters the aim of our practice is to make our patients visit with us as comfortable and relaxing.

Treating our patients the way we ourselves & our families would like to be treated.

We do this offering our patients the highest standards of Independent dentistry free from restrictions.

In case of emergency please telephone the practice, we will direct you to the on call service for this weekend.

We are delighted to welcome our patients from all over the North West including Derry/ Londonderry, Donegal, Omagh, Letterkenny, Limavady, Strabane and Dungiven.

INDEPENDENT DENTAL CARE

We still provide certain categories of patient under the NHS, such as Children of our adult patients. We feel that by providing adult care on an independent basis it allows us to allocate extra time to provide the best care available for the children of our adult patients.

With the latest techniques which requires additional knowledge, advanced training and investment in fabulous new equipment to give stunning results for our patients



Reserve enough time for each and every patient procedure,ensuring patient comfort. & to allow us to stop and take a short break during any procedures should you require for your comfort.

Provide patients with the highest standards of dental technician should they require some bespoke laboratory work such as Crowns, Veneers, Bridge Work etc.

Robert Millar

We aim to treat patients in a relaxed and professional manner.

After graduating in 1997 from Queen’s University Belfast, Robert began working at Dental Health Matters in August that year. He became principal of the practice in 2000. In the years that followed, he was rather busy, raising a family, running the practice and attending dental courses worldwide.

Robert gained his diploma in Postgraduate dental studies in 2002 from the University of Bristol following 3 years of study and continued to further his dental education at the Eastman Dental Hospital in London gaining his certificate in restorative dentistry in 2007 before travelling to Fort Lauderdale USA to complete his implant training under Bob London at University of Fort Lauderdale. Robert has since completed his Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education in 2014. This gave him the skills to train and teach young less experienced dentists. In 2020 after 2 years of studying and training in orthodontics, he was awarded his Diploma in Orthodontics from the university of Warwick, England.

Robert continues to strive for dental excellence and regularly travels to train under some of the world's best dentists to allow him to provide the care and attention he feels his patients deserve.
